1. Overview
Fennel is designed to help you import, organize, and cook recipes. We aim to keep data collection minimal and focused on providing core app functionality.
2. Information we process
The app may process recipe content you add, shopping-list items, optional recipe images, and app settings such as iCloud sync and import preferences.
3. Where data is stored
Your app data is stored on your device. If you enable iCloud sync, eligible data is stored in the private iCloud database associated with your Apple ID.
4. AI-assisted import
Fennel may offer AI-assisted parsing to improve recipe imports. Depending on your configuration and device, processing may happen on-device. You control whether AI parsing is enabled in Settings.
5. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal data or share recipe data with third parties except as needed for platform services you enable, such as Apple iCloud.
6. Data retention and your choices
Data remains available until you edit or delete it. You can disable iCloud sync and AI parsing, and delete recipes or shopping items at any time.
7. Children’s privacy
Fennel is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
