2. Information We Process
When you use Fennel, the app may process:
- Recipe content you add (for example, titles, ingredients, steps, and optional notes).
- Shopping list items generated or manually entered in the app.
- Optional recipe illustration images you select.
- App settings (for example, iCloud sync preference and import preferences).
3. Where Data Is Stored
Your app data is stored on your device. If you enable iCloud sync, eligible app data is stored in your private iCloud database associated with your Apple ID.
4. AI-Assisted Import
Fennel may offer AI-assisted parsing features to improve recipe imports. Depending on your app configuration and device capabilities, processing may happen on-device.
You control whether AI parsing is enabled through app settings.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your recipe data with third parties except as needed to provide platform services you enable (for example, iCloud sync through Apple).
6. Data Retention
Data remains available in the app until you edit or delete it. If iCloud sync is enabled, data may remain in your private iCloud storage according to Apple account behavior.
7. Your Choices
- You can disable iCloud sync in app settings.
- You can disable AI parsing in app settings.
- You can delete recipes and shopping items at any time within the app.
8. Children’s Privacy
Fennel is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
